Karen J. HAGEN Karen Hagen of Seattle died in her sleep January 6, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of 41 years to Walter; Mother of Erik and Martin Johnsen and Lynn, Leif and Leil Hagen; Grandmother to Walt and Donna Lackey; sister of Kermit Jorgensen; daughter of Nick and Ruth Jorgensen; Also survived by other relatives and friends. Karen was born March 16th 1935 at Ballard Hospital and graduated from Queen Anne high school in 1952; retired from the Queen Anne State Farm office in 1992. Karen lived as a member of the Lutheran church and enjoyed knitting and quilting for her grandchildren. "Her determination and strength is missednow and forever". Memorial Service, 11:30AM, Saturday, January 14, 2012 at First Lutheran Church of Richmond Beach - 18354 8th AVE NW, Shoreline, WA 98177. Private Burial Washelli Cemetery In lieu of flowers remembrances are suggested to ASPCA. Arrangements entrusted to Wiggen & Sons Funeral Home.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
