Our Dad, beloved patriarch of a large and loving family, and decorated WWll B 25 pilot, passed peacefully at the age of 99. He loved from his heart, he sang from his soul, and he abided in a deep and humble faith that influenced all aspects of his life. Throughout 70 years of marriage, he and his sweetheart, Betty, created a warm inclusive home. They enthusiastically mentored and cheered family and friends in sports, music and school performances. Kenny, a meat cutter by trade, worked, sang and laughed at Jones Bros. Meats, the family business. He was an integral member of his Ballard community. He now joins the love of his life, his deceased wife Betty, and is survived by his five children Kathy (Mike), Jan (Terry-d.), John (Marie), Sher (Doug-d), Barb (Dan), 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren (+2 on the way). He is also survived by his brother Robert and a large extended family. Words are inadequate to express how we miss him. A celebration of his life will be held on Oct. 9, 2017, 1:00pm, at Berean Bible Church, 2345 N 185th St. in Shoreline.

To the Jones Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

I also have great memories of your mom and dad. Such a happy family and lots of fun to be around. Growing up on second avenue with great neighbors was really special and fun. All good memories. I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you.

I have such special memories of all of you. We lived next door to to you on 2nd avenue for all those years. What fun we had! I felt like I was always so welcome in your home. You gave me my first experience of God & Church. We climbed trees, put on plays, had parades, sold lemonade and oh those picnics at Golden Gardens. What a wonderful family. How lucky for you all to have such great loving understanding parents. Kenny will be so missed as I know you still miss your Mother. My heart is with you
