Kevin Matheson Obituary
Kevin Raymond Matheson, age 56, of Redmond, Washington, died peacefully at his home Sunday, June 9th following a one year battle with cancer.
A lifelong Washington resident, Kevin was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Kevin had a love for fast cars, long motorcycle rides, gardening, his remote control race car track and little white dogs. He was well known in his community for his fabulous Christmas light display.
Kevin was born May 10, 1957 in Seattle, to Raymond and Esther (Cochran) Matheson. He attended Shorecrest High School and worked for the rest of his life in the auto industry. In 1993 he married the love of his life, Marta who preceded him in death last November.
Kevin is survived by his brother, Kim Matheson, daughters Jennifer (Andy), Mandie and Mellissa (Eric) and grandchildren, Isabelle, Adrianna, Julianna and Reed. Also by his loving animals, Frosty, Ernie and Easy.
A BBQ on Sunday the 23rd will be
held for friends and family in Woodinville. Please contact [email protected] for more details. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a cancer charity of your choice.
