Kimberly Lillquist Obituary

Kimberly Lillquist

Kimberly Lillquist passed away suddenly on July 27th, 2017. On December 15, 1959, she was born a happy baby to Margaret Timothy Beach and Leland Stephan Beach, in Multnomah County Oregon and was surrounded by loving family in Coos Bay Oregon. Tragically, Kimberly lost her mother when she was 7-years-old. After her mother's passing she went to live with her dad, stepmother and sister in Seattle. Her father's job took them to Salem, Oregon where she graduated from South Salem Highschool in 1977. From there she went to O.S.U. for one year and once again relocated with her family to Edmonds Washington for her father's job. After a year at Shoreline CC she began working at Blue Cross and from there continued to work in the health industry for 30 years at Zenith American Solutions. There was no doubt that she was a dedicated hard worker that brought strength, knowledge and laughter to her job and co-workers. In 1979, she met Marvin Lillquist through mutual friends and from then on Marvin made it his goal to make her laugh for the rest of their days. They married in 1986 and in 1991 Kimberly gave birth to a baby girl that she loved unconditionally, sharing a bond with her only known to mothers and daughters. Kimberly found joy in giving thoughtful gifts to those around her, always being willing to help those that were in need, handing out scooby snacks to her happy dogs and enjoying a homecooked meal accompanied with good conversation and smiles. She lived life as a loving and devoted wife, an honorable daughter, a big sister and a superhero of a mother. She has taught us how to live every day with warm laughter and kindness. Kimberly will be with us always, in all ways. There will be a celebration of life at 2pm September 16th, 2017 at the Ballard Bay Club, 6413 Seaview Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107. Laughter and tears welcome.

To the Lillquist Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

I remember Kim. We were little she was 7 and I was 8. she came to Shelly Rd. to visit us. I remember visiting Kim in Salem and we had a great time when she was a teenager. I remember Kim as being gentle, tender hearted and a wondeful laugh and smile....

I look forward to seeing her again someday in Heaven.

Love and blessing and thanks and comfort to all her family and friends.
