I can't believe it has been 10 years. I miss him and think of him all the time. But he is also with me all the time. So much of who I am is because of him. And he made so many memories though the years that we do not forget and I am sure that was by design. He gave to his family, friends, patients and to everyone. If your life was touched by my Dad, it would be great to hear from you and share some of your memories on this 10 year anniversary. I love you Dad.

He was our family Dr. since he started his practice in Edmonds. The first time he came to the house my dad thought he was the paper boy. He delivered my 3 sons. He was a loving caring person, with a great sense of humor!

Sharon, You and Larry were our Best Friends and family. He invited my Mother and I on Christmas eve to see the Christmas decorations he had just put up. The little entrance that was put in front of the front door was SO precious. He included us like family and the tree was fantastic. Having a special dinner at your house was so thoughtful. Delicious food and a special desert made us feel SO loved. We were included in alot of your Sunday breakfast's at Colonial Pantry, seeing how loving you all were toward's Diane. I always felt like I could tell you or Larry anything. I love the both of you with all of my heart, with Larry now with the living God, I take comfort in knowing that you are here. I pray for you all the time. There are too many memories to mention. But for over 25 years he was a Doctor, Counselor and father to my husband Greg. Not a day goes by when we don't have a memory of him. God Bless you Sharon. All my love, Alice G. Sundy

So many great memories of our families together. Through fun times and hard times supporting and loving one another. Larry leading the kids on hikes at Mt. Rainier. Setting up impossible croquet courses through the campsite. Playing bridge and exploring Hawaii together. Swimming. Larry being right there for me as I rushed to your house with Kerri after she fell. He was always there with a ready smile, I loved how we could just 'pick up the conversation' whenever we saw each other. Far too many memories to list, but all held in our hearts.
My love goes out to you Sharon and to all the kids. His legacy will live on through a beautiful family.

...no more B-12 shots in my rear-end or cracking my bones on the examination table...i was ten and you began like doctors in those days did - coming to our house with your black doctors bag - a house call...over the next forty years i found a refuge in your office where (as with countless others) you spent as much time as was needed providing a remedy - always generous with your time...the father i never had and crucial for me and my family...i feel like i,ve lost an anchor but so appreciative...thanks Larry

Dr. Hoover was an amazing doctor, he was the doctor who took interest in my health and began turning around my health.. I am now a home health RN that would never of been possible without his common sense approach to doctoring.. I am forever grateful.
Thank you Dr. Hoover and my thoughts and prayers are with your family...

I will never ever forget the doc. He was not only a family doctor for many years he helped my family through a devestating time of losing my daughter Katie. He wasn't like a doctor or a counselor he was like family, he really truly cared and loved us. He will be greatly missed.

One thing we remember about Larry is he always had something to say! He wasn't afraid to share his opinion on a topic but always did that with kindness.... a twinkle in his eye, yes but always kind! So sorry that you've lost such a special man. Aren't we so blessed though to know that he's singing and dancing over such an amazing reward!! Much love to all of you Greg and Val
