LaVon Price Obituary

LaVon D. Price

September 9, 1925 ~ June 9, 2016

LaVon (nee Klee) was born in Rochester, MN. She lived there until age 10 before moving to Kalispell, MT. In 1941 the family moved to Seattle.

At the shipyards LaVon met her husband to be, John Price. They married on June 2, 1945 and settled in Shoreline. LaVon enjoyed volunteering in many areas of the community. She was active in the PTA and was awarded the Golden Acorn. She was also involved with the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Beta Sigma Phi.

LaVon enjoyed camping all of her adult life. She loved cooking for her family and finding new recipes to try. Even at age 90 she was right there in the kitchen helping to prepare the meals. She always made sure to add her secret ingredient: Love

LaVon is survived by her son James Price, daughters Janet (Dan) Hanson and Marianne Garton, grandchildren Keyan and Julia Hanson, Reid and Nicolas Garton, sister Barbara(Roy) Moore, brother Roger (Linda) McDonald. Predeceased by husband John Price, son Daniel Price, and brother Wayne Klee. No services at her request.
