Marie Brockway Obituary
Marie Etzkorn Brockway, loving wife of Beaman Brockway and mother to sons Roger, Stephen and Charles passed away peacefully Friday morning June 3, 2016 at the age of 92. She was born in Monitor Washington, and graduated from the University of Washington. She loved to garden and sail. She will be remembered for her great love of family and friends and for her whistling.
A Catholic Mass will be held at St. Marks Church, 18033 15th Pl. N.E. in Shoreline on Wednesday June 15th at 11:00 am.

Brock, boys and family,
Marie was such a fun lady. She was best friends with my late in-laws, Georga & Lorna Miller. Working in her garden, she would always wave when we drove by and when we stopped to chat we would catch up on each other's lives. She was always so happy and gracious and interested in everything around her. She was very talented and made us a quilt for a wedding gift 30 years ago which I still have. I always think of her fondly when I see it.

Sorry to hear about Marie. She was so friendly and welcoming. When I finally had a partner, Brock said "We need to check him out." They did and approved. She was a lovely, caring Alpha Omicron Pi sister.
