I've known Marlene just about all of my life. Our families couldn't have been closer if we'd been related! The MS she battled throughout her adult life did not win. It could not defeat her inner strength and her steadfast belief in a loving God.
I will miss her dearly, but Marlene gave me a rare gift, my best friend, her loving daughter Colleen. My late mother Joann Talley and Marlene were also best friends! Now Colleen and I have two strong women to inspire us. May we honor their memories always.
