Mary Bayard Obituary
Mary Catherine Bayard passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 17, 2017. She will be deeply missed, but we find peace in knowing she is now together again with her husband of 64 years, William C. Bayard.
Mary was born (1930) and raised in Seattle graduating from Roosevelt High School and the University of Washington. She married William Bayard in 1949 and raised five children while living in the Shoreline area for over 50 years. In addition to raising her family, she dedicated her life to work in the Mental Health field for 40 years. She will be remembered for her positive spirit, love of family, entertaining and gourmet cooking, travel and being able to fit more into a day then most anyone we know.
Her optimism and generous spirit inspired us all. She is survived by her five children, Susan Apperson, Anne (Mike) Cullum, David (Cindy) Bayard, Katie (Ken) Cowan, Alison (Mark) Fitzpatrick, 12 grandchildren and 13 great, grandchildren.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held on Sunday,
November 12, 2017, 2-4 pm, in the Rosewood Room at Country Village, Bothell WA.
We offer special thanks to the staff at Emerald Hills for their loving care and support during mom's last year and to Providence Hospice of Seattle for helping us care for Mary at home.
Donations to celebrate Mary's legacy can be made to Sheperd's Counseling Services, 2601 Broadway E., Seattle WA 98102.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was a neighbor of your mom and dad's for years - wonderful people and such great stories about the "early days" of the block. They are both truly missed.
