Mary Irvine Obituary
July 15, 1946 ~ December 15, 2011
Born in Seattle to Arveda and Elliott Irvine of Port Townsend, Wa., and later Camas, Wa. After graduation from UW, Mary worked in retail before entering the technical staffing industry and became owner of Techstaff, a local technical staffing firm. She was well known throughout the industry for her integrity and participation in staffing associations.
She also was an accomplished basket weaver and jewelry maker and belonged to the NW Basket Weavers Guild and NW Bead Society. Her guidance and participation was greatly valued by both guilds.
Mary died Dec. 15, 2011 after a brief illness.
She was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her sister, Thelma Fertello of Camas, Wa., and several aunts and cousins.
There will be a Celebration of her Life on Saturday July 14, 2012 at 1:30 at the Shoreline Unitarian Universalist Church, 14724 1st Ave NE Shoreline, Wa.
