Max Anderson Obituary
Our father, Max Anderson, died unexpectedly May 7, 2015 at the age of 92. He was born March 22, 1923 in Vincent, and graduated in 1941 from Tolt High School where he met his future wife, Ruth Ann Riley. He served in the navy during WWII and was on a support ship off the coast of France on D Day. He married our mother in 1945 and they began their life together in Lake Forest Park. He was in the grocery business for many years, lastly, as owner of Max's Select Foods in Seattle. After our mother's death in 1989, he eventually moved from our family home to his current residence in Edmonds, a place he enjoyed. He was also preceded in death by his only brother, Allen. He is survived by his six children, Jerry, Connie, Chris, Carla, John and Cindy, 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. At his request, there will be no services.
