Mike Graham Obituary

Mike 'Otto' GRAHAM Michael Andrew 'Otto' Graham was born in Hermosa Beach, California on April 28, 1943. In 1974 Mike moved the family to Sequim, Washington where they bought acreage and a log cabin, grew their own food, tended their livestock, 'chopped wood and carried water'. As part of an intentional community, they practiced non-violent conflict resolution, recycling, opposed nuclear energy/war, and promoted social justice. In 1989 Mike moved to Seattle with his wife and worked as Supervisor of Admissions for the Seattle Housing Authority and was a member/Chief Steward of OPEIU Local 8. In 2001 'Uncle Otto' as he was affectionately known to many, worked for his nephew Steven Villegas at "UTILIKILTS" earning the title "Manager of Customer Amazement." Proud to be an American, Mike was prouder still to be a Citizen of Planet Earth. He saw activism as a natural extension of his civic duty. A Living Memorial to celebrate Mike's life will be held this Sunday, April 29th from 1:00 to 3:00pm at Lake Forest Park Civic Club located at 17301 Beach Drive NE, Lake Forest Park, WA 98155. Please join the family and share your remembrances of Mike 'Otto'.
