Mirko D. Misic

Mirko D. Misic, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017. He was born on January 25, 1924 in Skaric, Bosnia and Herzegovina. His life journey took him though many places in the world. He put down his roots in Lake Forest Park, WA in 1962 with his late wife Mildred. Mirko worked as a mechanic at Boeing until his retirement.

Mirko was preceded in death by parents Dako and Vidosava, siblings Mara, Soka, Stevo and Milan, and wife of 52 years Mildred.

Even though he had no children of his own, along with Mildred, he opened his home to Steve, Branka, Zeljko, Maja and Marijana, and provided them with the opportunity to build a better future for themselves. Mirko never forgot his roots, and kept nurturing ties with his extended family in Bosnia. He was humble, honorable, and a man of faith.

Beloved Grandpa - Cica Mirko, you leave an unfillable void behind. It was an honor sharing life with you and learning from you. You will continue to live in our memories, and your grace and love will forever be cherished.

Upon his wishes, no public service will be held in Seattle. Mirko will be laid to rest next to his wife in Miles City, MT.
