Norman Hansen Obituary
Norman Hansen died in his sleep 8/17/2016 at age 88 from cancer. He is survived by children Carol Dunster, Barry Hansen, nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Winifred and son Kurt Hansen.
Norm grew up in Richmond Beach and served as an Army paratrooper in Occupied Japan in 1946-47. He was a school teacher in the Shoreline School District for 27 years, moved to Lake Forest Park in 1973, and retired 1985. He wrote "Stories of Richmond Beach" and "Stories of a Paratrooper in Occupied Japan" and normanrhansen.com.
Family suggests remembrances to Shoreline Historical Museum.
