Patricia Lee ERICKSON 2/8/1931 ~ 10/24/2011 Born to Noel and Edna Winter in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her family moved to Hanover, Illinois in 1941 and Pat graduated from high school in 1949; shortly after she moved to Seattle, meeting Dick Erickson the following year at the Palladium Ballroom where a lifetime romance began. Pat and Dick were married in 1952 and had two children, Pattie and Chip. As a loving, caring mom she was involved in PTA, Campfire Girls and supported her children and husband 100% in all of their endeavors. The early '70s found the family moving to Puerto Rico and Hawaii, then eventually back to Seattle which would always be "home". Family was everything to Patbut bingo and casinos were definitely her idea of fun. She also loved to sing and perform and participated in community theater productions including the role of Mrs. Peroo in the Music Man. Pat was also generous with her time and energy, volunteering for the Ryther Child Center, Fircrest, Stevens Hospital, PTA and Catholic Services. Pat is survived by her husband Dick, sister June Winter, daughter Patricia Erickson, son Chip (Charlotte) Erickson and grandchildren Shelby, Lauren and Kayla. A memorial service will be held at 3PM on Wednesday 11/2 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1315 N. 160th St. in Shoreline. We meet a lot of people during our lives, many of whom we easily forget. Pax and I feel blessed to have known Pat through Dick. She was an easy person to talk with and we somehow always managed to find our way to be near her whenever she was around. She is one of those people we will not forget and will always remember with a smile.

I am a former neighbor of the family from the days on Mayfair. I remember Pat very well, along with the entire family (including your boxer, Duke). Though I was young, I remember Pat as a beautiful and fun person. The Paul Lorentz family always enjoyed the Erickson's. My thoughts are with you as you deal with your loss.
