Richard Goss Obituary

Richard Lee Goss

In Loving Memory

May 6, 1950 ~ February 12, 2013

We lost Rick 6 months ago today. He was an over the top personality in every situation he would fall or willingly put himself into - which were plenty. A lover of everything extreme, he lived all of his 9 lives on this earth to the fullest. Never a conformist (or at a loss for words) and happiest when he could shock or amuse, Rick also had a very tender and gentle side with empathy for the underdog and an innate sense of when to just shut up, listen, and lend his shoulder to cry on. A gifted artist and a graduate of the Cornish School of Arts, Rick was represented by the Foster/White Gallery in the 1970's. His sculptures are on the grounds of the Shoreline Pool, The Seattle Hebrew Academy as well as in many private collections and institutions.

Richard, Rick, Ricky, Ned, Uncle Neddy, Onionhead. He touched many lives and will be missed. It sure has been quiet around here without him.

This rascal was always up for a new adventure. He is now experiencing the ultimate road trip.

An event for Rick's friends to get together and share memories and laughter will be held later this month.

I'll always love you baby - Cyd
