Rica Grecco Obituary
Rica was born in Cle Elum, WA on December 30, 1922 and joined her beloved husband, Philip Charles Grecco on October 14, 2012. They were happily married on March 14, 1945 at St. James Cathedral Winter Chapel in Seattle, Washington and together they shared 49 years of marriage. She attended Seattle University and became a nurse; she traveled the world with her family and husband who had a career in the Air Force. Rica was a devoted mother to her three children, Mike Grecco, Cathy Grecco-Graham and P. Contance Grecco. She was also devoted to her four grandchildren, Andrew Graham, Melany Caspery, Nicole Grecco and Joey Grecco and her three great-grandchildren, Xander, Maddox and Isabella. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Lukes Parish, 322 North 175th Street, Shoreline, WA 98133 with a reception to follow. Graveside service will take place at Holyrood Cemetery, 205 NE 205th St. Shoreline, WA 98155. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Hope Heart Institute by visiting hopeheart.org

Rica was one of my favorite people at St. Luke. We always exchanged a warm greeting and a hug every time we saw one another - even at Costco, where I often ran into her handing out samples! God bless this wonderful woman. May the choirs of angels come to greet her!

I knew Rica in her later years and had the privilege of traveling with her and her daughter Constance. I will always treasure our brief acquaintance. May she rest peacefully in the arms of the one in whom she put her trust.

Mom you were an amazing Mother, so talented.I don't think I told you enough how thoughtful your caring ways have made such a difference to others,how your many small kindnesses have grown into ever-widening circles that touched so many lives.....especially mine.

Rica was a faithful greeter at 5:00 mass. She enjoyed her moment with each arrival and gave many hugs. Her life was long and full of gratitude for every blessing. Rest in peace!

May Rica rest in peace. She was a gallant and generous woman; I cherish her memory. I regret deeply that a personal medical challenge prevents me from being with you at her funeral, but rest assured I will remember her in my prayers and Masses.
