Robert Ehnat Obituary

Robert G. Ehnat

Robert (Bob) Ehnat was born in Tacoma, WA on April 23, 1925 and passed away peacefully in Shoreline, WA on February 17, 2015. Son of Paul and Gladys Ehnat, he is survived by his wife Diane and their three children, Robert, Valerie and Felicia, son-in-law Kevin, three granddaughters, Nicole, Courtney and Sophia and brother Walter of Phoenix AZ.

Bob served in the Navy during WWII rising to the rank of Petty Officer First Class. Following the end of the war and an honorable discharge, he went to work for the Washington State Dept. of Agriculture, where he worked until his retirement from the position of Chief Deputy Inspector in 1980.

Traveler, fisherman, golfer and football fan, he was a loving husband, father and friend, and an incorrigible tease with a ready smile. He had an enduring sense of humor and a helping hand for those in need.

We will miss him.

Memorial to be held March 28th at 2PM, The Pavilion at Tacoma Elks (2013 S Cedar St Tacoma.) The family invites you to share memories of Bob at (www.bartonfuneral.com). Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association (www.lung.org).
