Robert Laurence Herriott

Robert Laurence Herriott DVM of Shoreline, WA passed away on 7/28/14 at his son's home, after a short illness. He was born in Haines, Oregon and grew up in Everett, WA. He was a lieutenant while serving in WW II. He met and married Simone Azoulay, the love of his life in 1945. He returned to college and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in the early 50's. He practiced in the Seattle area until he retired in 1983. A lover of poetry, family and gardening he spent his retirement doing what he loved. He is survived by his son Alain (and wife Jody); grandson Morgan (and wife Lia); grandson Forrest and great granddaughter Inara. He was with the entire family when he passed in Talent, OR. I'm sorry for your loss. For many years our family relied on Dr. Herriott to care for our family pets. When he moved from Aurora to Lake City we followed him because of his compassion for our pets and his kindness to us. May he rest in peace knowing he was appreciated and greatly respected.
