Ronald Rhodes Obituary
Ron passed peacefully at his home in Seattle at the age of 76; proceeded in death by his wife Mary Ann and survived by son, Timothy, mother Maxine, and siblings Melody Gabriel & Michael Rhodes Jr.
Born in Kirkland, a graduate of Shoreline HS, he married his sweetheart Mary Ann in 1962; served in the Navy on the USS Hancock, Ranger & Enterprise; and was a draftsman & engineer with Boeing for 30+ years.
Active in the church, from Sunday school teacher to head usher to board member, he served the Lord in many roles both seen & unseen. And his lifelong love of golf & bowling continued throughout his days.
Upon retiring, Ron & Mary Ann travelled the world, visiting all seven continents, and were fortunate enough to celebrate 50 years of marriage before Mary Ann passed in 2012. Ron is now happily reunited with her once again, after passing quietly on August 16th, 2017.
A Memorial service and Celebration of Life will be held September 8th, 11:00AM at United Evangelical Free Church, 1420 NW 80th St., Seattle 98117.
