Sibyl Cass Obituary
Sibyl Cass, age 94, joined the heavenly angels on Feb. 6, 2016. Born in Hope, AR, she was the oldest with 5 brothers survived by two, Reeder and Paul. She graduated from St. Vincent's Nursing School in Little Rock, AR. In 1944, Sibyl married Victor Cass and they enjoyed 48 loving years before his passing. Much loved by her children, Linda Noon (Tom), Beverly Race (Dave), Roger Cass (Michelle), she was also blessed with 8 grandkids and 12 great-grandkids.
As a RN at Northgate & Northwest Hospitals she was a compassionate caregiver. For many years Sibyl was an involved church member & community volunteer, hostess to many home gatherings, avid gardener, RV club enthusiast, rock hound, beachcomber, and angel collector. She was even known to out fish her husband and son! Many will remember Sibyl for her beautiful smile.
A memorial service will be held Sat., Feb. 27, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Haller Lake United Methodist Church, 13055 1st Ave. NE, Seattle, WA 98125. In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully accepted to Haller Lake UMC or Shoreline Medic One.
