I knew Mrs. Venable growing up at St. Luke and as a parishioner at St. Mark. She was a great, kind, and faith filled person. I most especially appreciate what a great friend she was to my mom especially in my mother's last years. My prayers go out for her and for her family.

I will miss Virginia's smile and joy. She was the kindest person I know. Reading the entries here it appears that everyone she touched felt exactly the same way about her. Hugs and love to the entire Venable family. Feel her presence always.

When you look up the word "nice" in the dictionary, Mrs. Venables name and photo should be etched in every one.

I was very fortunate to see Mr. and Mrs. Venable on a weekly basis for some 20+ years. They always made it a point to come through my line at the neighborhood grocery store! And, I loved seeing them, and chatting, getting updates on their family and goings on! They were always so caring, and genuinely interested in what was going on with me! And, always asked about my mom, who they had also known. I will always have the wonderful memory of Virginia's warm smile and gracious presence! Peace to all of the Venable family! Stacey Stanford

Virginia was one of my late mom's dearest friends. I knew her all my life and think of her as one of the kindest people I have ever known. She wrote me letters when I was in college and never forgot a milestone in my life. I loved going to the Venable house when I was small because it was such a fun place to be. Her smile was genuine. her spirit warm. I will miss her very much.

What I remember most about Virginia when she was a resident at Aegis of Shoreline was her smile. She always had one for me. I am a little envious of the Venable family. You can truly tell that they live their faith and love each other the way a loving Christian family should. As I watched the family come and go to visit and take care of their parents, I was truly inspired. Virginia, enjoy your well deserved place in Heaven and Harold, I will be there for you if you need me.
Love in Christ,
Char
