William "Bill" James WIESENBACH, Sr. Born January 11, 1932 in Prosser; died December 10, 2011 in Shoreline following a long period of declining health and strength. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Tacoma and Edison Technical College. In 1958, he married Kathleen with whom he had three children. In 1976, he married Carol who gave him two more children. Bill loved classical music, British comedy, and participating in outdoor sports like skiing and mountain climbing. Using the rudimentary equipment of the 50's and 60's, he reached the summit of all of Washington's 7 peaks. Until he fell ill, Bill was the person called upon when anything needed to be fixed. Bill leaves behind Marina, William, Jr., and Kurt, and their mother, Kathleen; Annika and Karina, and their mother, Carol; his brother Roger; and two granddaughters, Anna Lester and Kate Thompson. A requiem will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 15 Roy St on Wednesday, January 11 at 3:00 pm with a reception following in the Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northwest Harvest.
