Winifred Frances Sandbloom

Winifred Frances Turner SANDBLOOM Winnie Sandbloom passed away July 11, 2011; four days before her 93rd birthday. She was born July 15, 1918 in Denver, Colorado and until recently was a 62-year resident of Seattle's Broadview neighborhood, moving there in 1947. Winnie was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur B. Turner, in 1942, and by her second husband, Carl H. Sandbloom in 2001. Winnie and Carl were married 55 years. She is survived by her sister, Wilma Ruggera of Littleton, Colorado; her son Wilfred 'Bill' Turner (Gail) of Edmonds, and daughter, Dixie J. Dibb of Bothell; grandchildren: Michael, David, Deborah, Dianna, and Cathryn; and several great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held August 11, 2011, 7pm, at Northwest Church, 15555 - 15th Ave. NE, Shoreline, WA 98155. Private inurnment at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.
