Gail Lynne MATHESON Gail was born in Seattle, WA to Roy and Letha Matheson on December 20, 1939. She has been a long-time resident in the Seattle area, graduating from Roosevelt High School and then attending the University of Washington for a couple years. During her college years she was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. She worked as an administrative assistant for various companies in the Seattle area including King Broadcasting in the mid 1960's, Alcoa for about 20 years and for about 10 years in King County HUD. Gail loved photography, her poodles, outdoor activities such as sailing, and she especially looked forward to watching the Highland Games which reminded her of her Scottish heritage. Gail passed away on April 21, 2011 in Seattle at the age of 71. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mabel Larson, her father, Roy G. Matheson, her mother, Letha (Mordyck) Matheson and her brother, Gary D. Matheson. No services are planned at this time. Thank you all for sharing your memories of our Aunt Gail. It means the world to us. We loved her so much.
We will be having a service at her internment site, Acacia on Saturday May 14th, at 1:00. Please attend.

I first met Gail when I went to work for Alcoa. We became great friends and travelling buddies. Many trips to Hawaii together and lots of memories of a wonderful friend.

Gail and I were friends from high school and then enjoyed being sorority sisters in Kappa Delta. She was always a kind and caring member and one you could count on when you needed help.
