Aunt Goldie was the best! There will be a void in our lives now. We always enjoyed going to Seattle to visit or when they came to Minnesota. We remember staying in the guest house in Seattle and Goldie's cat, Miss Ellie.
Goldie used to bring home those good onion/cheese rolls from the bakery. We also remember all the solitare games that Gay and Goldie played.
No matter how old, it is a change and a loss in family relationships to lose a parent/grandmother/great-grandmother. We will be thinking of you as you prepare for a life without her. We extend our sympathies to you.
All our love and prayers to you.
Goldie's nieces: Carlyn Tasto, Vivian Denton, Irene Kleven, Shirley Knutson and Linda Kocak (all from Minnesota)

Marilyn, Cindy, Cassey and all of the Anton Family:
Goldie was one of my favorite sisters-in-law. If I needed any help after Edmer and I were married, Goldie was always there to assist. Edmer said that after their mother died in 1927, Goldie was 14 and her sister Pearl was 9; it was then that Edmer and his brother Gordon took care of their two sisters. They became very close to each other. We sure missed them when Goldie, Gay, Myron and Marilyn moved to Seattle. I have fond memories of the many trips that we took to visit Goldie & Gay and family. Just last fall Carlyn and I went to spend some time with Goldie. We did a lot of talking about old times and had a good visit with her. Before we left, we said our goodbyes. She said she would see us in the next world. Blessed be her memory.

I always thought she was she was so beautiful with her red hair and had wished I could of had red hair. All my sympathy goes to you Marilyn and the entire family at this time of loss of your mother. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

To The Goldie Anton family, You have my sympathy.
My mother was a cousin of Goldie's. I remember her talking about Goldie. I think they used to write back and forth in their earlier years. My grandfather, Fred Hansen, was Goldie's mother, Emma's' brother. I have a good deal of information on the Hansen family if anyone is interested. If so, please email me at [email protected].
