Betty Blackketter Obituary

Betty BLACKKETTER A long time Kirkland resident passed away peacefully on March 17, 2011, at Evergreen Hospice. Betty was born in Prosser, Washington on November 30, 1923, and later moved to the Seattle area with her family in 1931. She preceded in death by her loving husband Leonard and was also a devoted mother to Karen Johansen (Gary), Kathy Jenkins (Mark), and Kim Blackketter (Tami). Betty was a grandmother to Kelli Binek (Tony), Kasey Johansen, step grandmother to Jordan and Riley Edwards, and proud great grandmother to Madecyn Binek and Cassius Tiffany. Services will be held at Purdy Walters Floral Hills on Tuesday, March 22 at 1:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Kirkland Medic One Program.
