Going back twenty plus years, I had worked with Tom on various assignments.

He was hard working, sincere, truly a “good man” and above all willing to share his expertise and knowledge. What I will always remember about Tom most is his strength to speak his mind in an unfettered manner.

They say time heals all things…at this point in time I find that hard to believe… Tom’s passing has left a void, I will miss him greatly; he will not be forgotten.

My condolences and prayers to the family, may they have the strength and courage to bear this great loss.

I am sorry to hear of Toms passing. Tom and I worked together at Knappton Maritime. He spoke of his family often in the stories he would share around the break table. He was a wonderful man and I am glad I had the opportunity to get to know him.

Tom was the most knowledgable and approachable engineer I ever knew. Whenever there was a problem we never had to look any further than him. He would always answer his phone, and have an answer to your problem, or would be there in a heartbeat if you needed him, nights, weekends, whenever. He always made you feel that what you had to say was important. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Knowing Tom was my great pleasure, and I'll miss him.

Bertie, Brian and Bruce. As you already know Tom has been like a father to me for the last 16 years. He was always there with a helping hand, words of encouragement and sadly a look of disapointment in his eyes. He gave his love to me and the children unconditionally despite how hard I made things for him. His generous nature and forgiving heart has forever changed my life for the better. He will be missed by us all. I feel so very blessed to have known him and shared our lives with him. This last 8 years have been the best years of my life thus far, and he was the man who helped me achieve this. He is a great role modle; honest, hardworking, forgiving, caring, persistant and extremly patient. I cannot thank you all enough for sharing your father and your husband with Allie, Joe and myself. He will be in our hearts, and in our thoughts forever. Love Sherry
