Mary Elizabeth Daly

Mary Elizabeth DALY 'Mary Beth' Mary Beth died March 25, 2011 in Reading, MA after a short illness. She was born January 6, 1953 in South Bend, IN, the daughter of Richard Harold Daly and Elizabeth Ann Lynch Daly. Mary was a member of St. Monica Church on Mercer Island and attended Mercer Island High School in 1971 and then graduated from Central Washington University in 1976. For many years she worked for the Social Security Administration in both Bellevue and Boston. She retired from there in 2005. Over the years she lived in Mercer Island, Seattle, Bellevue, and Boston. For the past 15 years she lived in Reading, MA. Mary Beth was preceded in death by her mother and is survived by her father Richard and his wife Mary Alice (Rio Verde, AZ), along with Kathy Bauernfeind (Brian) of Pekin, IL, Richard H. Jr. MD (Marilyn) of Dallastown, PA, Patricia A. Daly MD (John Head) of Washington, VA, Suzanne D. Rosenthal (Allan) of Seattle, Thomas Hood (Shelia) of Tampa, FL and her dear life partner, Stephen Kenary of Reading, MA with whom she made her home. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Our sister, daughter, and life partner loved her family and lived her life enjoying cooking, travel, and the company of friends. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten. There will be a graveside service at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Bellevue, WA on April 4, 2011 at 12:30 pm.
