My friendship with Mary Beth began is Seattle where we both worked for SSA. We kept in touch through the years via telephone, visits, and yearly Christmas cards. She never got the hang of the computer or just preferred talking on the phone. She was fun to be with, outgoing, and easy to like. I miss her.

Mary Beth possessed a very special soul. She was a sweet person, through and through. She and I worked together at SSA for many years and shared a special friendship. I was building a cabin on Camano Island and MaryBeth accompanied me to the cabin on many weekends, pitching in with whatever job I was tackling. We shared a special bond, not only through our joint efforts, but in our play as well. Many hours were spent on the beaches of Camano Island and at garage sales searching for that consumate bargain. After she moved to Boston, every once in a while for no reason whatsoever, she would send me flowers. She was never afraid to say "I love you". I will hold her memory near and dear to my heart.
