Lucille Burge Obituary

Lucille Ann BURGE Age 83, of Stanwood, passed away, Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at home. She was born in Beatrice, Nebraska, July 4, 1924 to Harry and Anna (Williams) Sprague. She graduated from Courtland, Kansas High School. Lucille was active in the Moose Lodge in Kansas and was a member of TOPS in the Lakewood community. She was married to Lloyd Burge for 50 years. He preceded her in death. She is survived by 3 Children; Bruce (Kathy) Burge, Van (MaryBeth) Burge and Bonnie (Jim) Miller; 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 14 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, 804 State Ave., Marysville, WA. A Graveside Service will be Monday, Oct. 15, at 10:00 a.m. at the Marysville Cemetery. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to North Hospice. Arrangements are by Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home.

I am glad to have known Lucille as a member of TOPS. She was always smiling thru her discomfort and we all knew she was very uncomfortable. My sympathy to all members of her family. Rest in Peace, Lucille. Jo Kubec
