Dear Matt,
You were always so friendly and kind to me. I'll never forget sitting with you on the 21st floor and sharing laughs as the calls slowed down. You were a rare person who is genuinely kind and goodhearted. I'm so happy that our paths crossed and I got to hang out with you at work. Thank you for always being so nice to me and for giving me such good advice about life. You made yourself so easy to talk to and I'll never forget that. If there is any highlight in my short workspan at Free and Clear, it's being friends with you. I'm not going to ever forget you and I'm so sad you're gone. Laugh it up fuzzball! Thanks for the laughs my friend.

Matt you were an amazing human being. Im glad Angie introduced me to you. Im sorry I moved to Ballard and you couldn't join me on my evening walks with my dog any more :) You had all the coolest toys and stayed young for your entire life. You funeral was by far the most comfortable service I have ever attended. Your sisters did an amazing job in honoring and celebrating your life. You would have appreciated everything from the music to the punch. As you transform into 'whats next' we enjoy remembering 'what was'. As Master Yoda once said..."Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not. Miss them do not. Attachment leads to jealously. The shadow of greed, that is"...Today we rejoice your transformation into the force :)

My entire life, you have always been there. I had not only an awesome brother but you were my best friend. So many people including myself would always say how great it was that we are so close and so bonded. I will never forget the kindness, thoughtfulness, things you taught me, your smile, your laugh, your crazy sense of humor we share, you playing music, and most of all just being the wonderful you. I love and miss you so much and can't believe you are gone.
Forever love, my beautiful brother xoxox
