Russ was an outstanding boss, mentor and wonderful friend who I met when he hired me at Blue Cross, to serve with him on their legal team. He had an exceptional memory and gift for telling stories about history. But his own life advenures captivated me. A true gentleman, who always took the high ground; served his country in several significant capacities, and was deservedly treasured by his family, friends and colleagues.
