Timm was my best and funniest friend during my 30s, when we were so ensconsed in our daily lives in Seattle when it was imitable. We spoke every night, while tucked in, and reassured each other that we would find happiness any day now, and that at least we had best friends.I directed him several times as an actor. We had brunches, and dinners at each others' houses, and indifferent mexican food with Alan and David and Mimi and other friends. Tim help me to stay glued together and laughing.I have never had a better or funnier friend, and although several years have passed (me in Utica, Timm in Seattle), he remains one of my best best friends. I have long for his friendship for many years, and i suppose I still do. I miss him endlessly, perhaps because I know what good stories he must have to tell.

I came to know Rhys while a student at LIOS. I knew him as a gentle person with an amazing sense of humor. He had a wonderful way of encouraging me and acknowledging where I was in the moment.
He taught me about mindfulness and self acceptance...all while having a great time!
He will be missed and remembered warmly.

Such the sweet man and the source of so many smiles and giggles in the theater department at the University of Iowa. May all angelic hosts light your journey home.

Oh, Timm, the years we worked together at Shanti... I will never forget them. You brought such humor and warmth to the trainings and the work. Your quick, sharp wit is unforgettable. Creative, intelligent: you to the core. And funny! You short-sheeted my bed when we went to Las Vegas and bungee jumped off a crane above Circus Circus. You gave me one of the best compliments ever when you said, "When you love something it STAYS loved."

"K-bye", Tim. You were here for such a short time. All you touched were blessed to have you in their life. I have Sooo many funny, loving memories of you. We were so close to meeting again and that didn't happen. Breaks my heart. The loss of you, breaks my heart. You were lovely.

What an impact Rhys had, on so many people. His frank insight, compassionate candor, rolling wit and loving pauses gave me a sign of what LIOS was all about. He is the reason I joined now, and has changed my life. Thank you Rhys. I know you are smiling above us.

When I remember Tim, I think of kindness. Though I wasn't one of his intimates, I sang with him in the Esoterics and knew him as a thoughtful, warm person. I saw how gentle, intelligent, and well-spoken he was. I enjoyed his musicality and his big smile. Over the years, I would run into him at one event or another and was always warmed by our brief connversations. I truly value knowing him. I miss having his grace in our world.

Rhys had an amazing ability to form genuine, warm connections with people instantly. My first visit with him we talked for four hours. I had no idea where the time had gone because I enjoyed the time with him so much. He is a beautiful soul, and he will be missed in this world.

His wit and ability to tell stories kept all of us in stiches. I was fornutate to meet him many years ago after Sandea and Bill found eachother and traveled with him once. He clearly has touched many lives for the best and I count myself deeply blessed to be among that number. You will live in joy in all our hearts.

I went to high school and college with Tim in Iowa City. Although we hadn't been in touch for many years I remember him very well. He was a fabulous, talented man and a very loyal friend. Sounds like he lived a very blessed life. My condolences to his family and friends there in Seattle.
