Millie was feisty, funny, and independent. She loved cruising and travel. She was our neighbor for the last 7 years of her life, and I miss her every day. We loved the long obituary because there were so many things about her early life that we did not know.

I was sorry to read about Mildred's death and wish to extend my condolences. Mildred was a favorite cousin of my mother's, Irene Krahmer Ball, and when I approached Mildred several years ago with questions about past Krahmers, she was very kind to correspond with me. I appreciate the fine tribute to her in the paper. My thoughts are with your family at this time. Marilyn Ball Kroening
