Shelia Jones was the role model for real person of faith. I am so blessed till this day to have known Sheila. I am thankful to the family for allowing me to have mementos of Sheila. My plant name Sheila, is flourishing. I had three plants in one. Only one has survived. That brings extra oxygen to my home. RIP my Faith Sista .

Jones family,
"The will of God will never take you, where the Grace of God will not protect you." I read quote somewhere and felt it was appropriate to share at this time.Eugene, Sheila and you have shown me how true chritanis carry themselves. I can honesstly say, to me Sheila and you are the epitome of christains. A lot of folks claim to be. Few are including myself. It doesn't make the rest of us bad people. We must step our christain game up and work at being better. Thank you for sharing your Wife,Mother, Sibbling, associate and friend with the rest of the world.

I met your family through Andrea Eason and it is with fond memories that I think about all of you. I wish that I had known Sheila better before she went home, but I know that she is at home, at peace, watching over all of the people that she loved. I am looking forward to that time when we will all be able to sit down together and spend eternity getting to know each other better while we praise and worship the Lord. Tiffany and Timothy, I lost my mother a little over 2 years ago, and even though its hard, I try to spend my time thinking about the joyful memories that I have because I know that those are what she would want me to remember. You all have my love and prayers.

Our prayers are with the Jones and Hill family during this time of grief. I will always have great memories of Shelia during the time she lived in Memphis and attended Olivet Baptist Church. Her smile and always supportive attitude were her trade marks. "When you are at your lowest point in live is when the Lord carries you and there is only one set of footprints in the sand." Our prayers are with you all. The Hollowell, Nettles & Collins Family

Eugene, Tiffany, and Timothy:
Wow, where do I begin. Sheila was the first person that befriended me when I moved to Seattle in 1992. She made me a part of your family when I moved there from Memphis. If it wasn't for her and Eugene, I would have moved home within the first 6 months, but Sheila kept saying it would get better, and it did. She was beautiful inside as much as she was on the outside. If there ever was an example of the Proverb 31 woman, it was Sheila. She loved her husband, and adored her kids. I was deeply saddened when Eugene called me concerning her passing Friday morning. Earth's loss is Heaven's gain. The great part is she went in peace as she lived in peace. Eugene, Tiffany, and Timothy, you are in my prayers and will always be in my heart. I love you all so much. Her legacy continues in you all.

To Eugene, Tiffany, Tim and Family, your strength comes from God and Sheila is there always. I will miss Sheila, but I know that she is saying, "I am alright." Sheila will always be in my heart knowing that she is with our heavenly father. We had so much fun, the 3 Sheilas and that is the way it will always be. Each time, the Sheilas take our annual picture, Sheila #2 will be in the middle with her beautiful smile.

To Eugene and family.
Sheila has always been a joy to be around. I remember the days at Southside High School and will always cherish knowing her as a person and fellow Scrapper. I will always remember the expression we all had when I came to Seattle to visit my sister and brother-in-law. I was very happy to see you both since I had not seen you since high school. I know that the days ahead will be hard but know that God never make mistakes and he just needed another one of his precious angels home. Stay Blessed!!

Although it is impossible to see beyond your pain, may you look back to endless fond memories to comfort and help you through this painful time.
May your heart and soul find peace;
may the blessings of God be upon the family, that Sheila loved so deeply;
may peace always be within your soul,
now and forever more. Sheila was an amazing person. Everyone that met her was better because she shared a piece of herself with them.

I had the pleasure of working with Sheila on the LST team for a short while. She was a very sweet, intelligent, loving and caring woman. The first night we went out to dinner she pulled out her phone and showed me pictures of her children. She was such a proud mother. She talked about how much she loved to take care of her family when she was home on the weekends. I was blessed to have spent time with such a wonderful woman. May God give you peace and strength to know that one day you will see her again in his kingdom. Jennifer Kaiser, Gentive LST Team

Dear Eugene, Tiffany and Tim,
We are so deeply sorry for your loss. We have no words - none - that are adequate to describe our sense of emptiness, and our empathy for you, upon learning of Sheila's passing.
Perhaps it may ease your pain just a bit to remember that "the size of the enormous hole in your hearts" is also "the precise measure of the enormous blessing Sheila was, and the memories of her will continue to be, in each of your lives."
As you know better than anyone, the tremendous blessing our most generous God bestowed upon the people he allowed to have contact with Sheila left deep footprints in each of the lives she touched.
Even in this moment of grief, pain and tears I believe there is reason for hope going forward: Sheila was a faith-filled child of God in a close-knit family of strong believers...which guarantees this can only be a temporary separation that will eventually be followed by the opportunity for all of you spend all of eternity together with the Father. For a woman of such faith, and for the family she loved - and who love her, the Son will bring Joy in the morning!
Please know you continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
With love,
Sam & Toni

I am not gone
I remain here beside you
Just in a different form
Look for me in your heart
And there you will find me
in our love which forever lives on
In those moments when you feel alone
Look for me in your thoughts
And there you will find me
in sweet memories that burn strong
Every time a tear
Forms in your beautiful eyes
Look up to the heavens
And there you will see me
Smiling down from God's glorious skies

To the Jones family: Expressing heartfelt sympathy and offering a prayer that God above will comfort you. Although no words of Sympathy can ease the loss you bear, still, may you find some comfort in the thought that we all care. May it be the source of inner strength to know that there's a loving God watching over you and that throughout this time of need, He'll stay close by your side.

Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the lord
