Norma Benedetti Obituary
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Norma passed away peacefully Saturday, April 20, 2013.
Norma Jean Walker was born November 20, 1919 to Alfred and Jean Walker in Seattle, Washington. Norma was a graduate of West Seattle High School where she was awarded the school's most prestigious award, The Willard Shield. Norma began her professional career with New York Life and was a long time employee of the Seattle School District.
Norma was forever a strong and principled woman who will be missed by many. Her sincere core values; honesty, integrity, moral and mental strength, attention to detail, and unconditional love for her family will always be remembered.
Norma Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, George Benedetti. She is survived by 3 sons, 2 daughters-in-law, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the ICU Nurses and Doctors at Good Samaritan Hospital - Puyallup for the incredible care they provided Norma during this most difficult time.
In addition, the family would like to thank Heather Rowan and her staff at Mt. View Adult Family Home - Sumner for their tender and loving care these past few weeks.
A private, family memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Norma's memory can be made to a charity of your choosing.

I enjoyed every moment I spent with Norma. She was a wonderful woman who left a legacy of sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of strength and character. She's already missed & will be for a lifetime.

I took care of Norma for 3 years and her loving personality made such a difference in my life. She will be missed very much. Norma loved her family and share many stories. I'm so Happy she is with George. He was always on her mind. I know the two of them are finally happy again!! I never seen a love like the love those two have for each other! ! My prayers gop out to her family as it is so bitter sweet. Norma and George will forever have a special place in my heart!!
