Sally Jorgensen Obituary
Sally passed away peacefully in Seattle September 19, 2015 surrounded by her family.
Sally (Nagle) Jorgensen is survived by husband Lars, sons & daughters in law, Robert & Cheryl, David & Laura, Carl & Greta. She is also survived by her sister Moira and her brother Brendan.
Loving grandmother to Samantha, Robert, Brandon, Nathan, Colton, Bradley, Hannah, Van and Jack. Her grandchildren were very special to her. And to the grandchildren she was the best Irish Granny!
Sally was born in Cork Ireland in 1931. The family moved to Bray in 1941. She attended Mt. Sackville secondary school (Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny) in Dublin from 1941-1949. She then attended St. Michaels college in Dublin from 1949-1954 and received her degree in nursing. Sally immigrated to New York, on to San Francisco, then finally to Seattle in 1958.
In 1960 Sally married Lars Jorgensen and they raised three boys: Robert, David and Carl.
She loved the rain, the wind and the grey days of the Pacific NW. She was much loved by all and will be missed.
A memorial Mass will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church, where she was a member for fifty years. 5600 S Ryan Seattle at 11:00am Saturday October 3, 2015. With a celebration of life reception to follow in the cafeteria.

Your Mother was a lovely lady. Her kind words to me at both my Dad and Mom's funerals will always be remembered in my heart.

Your Mother's love for you boys cannot ever be replaced or forgotten. She always showed such love and support for you all. I remember her as a gracious lady who I always enjoyed visiting. I am now living in California so will not be able to attend the Mass for her. I will pray that God comforts you with wonderful memories of her and the great times you spent with her growing up.

Many of her friends at Lakeshore miss her friendly smile. My mother enjoyed going to church together going for walks together.
