Dr. Steven Paul Nakanishi|
Steve passed away on November 1, 2013 at home in Chino Hills, CA with his loving family by his side after a 14 month battle with cancer. Born in Seattle on November 21, 1950 he attended UW and received his medical degree then served in the Peace Corps in Tonga. He married the love of his life, Diana, and was blessed with 2 sons, Robert and Paul. He practiced family medicine at Kaiser Permanente for 34 years.
He was preceded in passing by his mother, Kim Nakanishi and his great-nephew, Christian Wright. He is also survived by his father, Ted, brother, Gary, Seattle; sister, Sharon (Terry) Acena; nieces, Marissa Acena, Tiana (Cameron) Wright, grand-niece, Elliana, Sammamish; and many other loving relatives. Steve blessed so many and will be missed. A celebration of his life will be in Chino Hills on December 8. Remembrances may be made to Doctors Without Borders or Greenpeace in his name.
