William McKee Obituary

William D. McKEE

William D. McKee of Renton, WA passed away July 13, 2013. William was born in Seattle, WA on January 29, 1947 to Mr. Ernest McKee and wife Bessie F. McKee, Cook. He is survived by his mother, Bessie F. Cook, sisters, Sharon Korrell, and Marilyn Bryant, nephews, Brian Korrell and Daniel Bryant, nieces, Pamela Renfro and Amy Napier. William graduated from Franklin High School and Shoreline Community College. His career was in environmental engineering and he spent 30 years with The State of Washington Dept. of Transportation, and too young to retire he continued to work for KBA Construction Management Co. of Bellevue, and made many friends there. William served in the US Army for three years and was stationed on Okinawa during the Vietnam War. William spent many happy days at his most fond recreation, fishing in Puget Sound waters. Waiting for his safe return home was his companion of 8 years Molly, his golden retriever. Molly died shortly before William, whose loss of her brought too much heart-break so Bill had to join her. They are together again and God watches over them. William will be missed. Memorials for William may be made to Lakeridge Lutheran Endowment Fund or Emergency Feeding of Seattle, King County.
