Amelia Margaret Fisk

AMELIA MARGARET FISK OCT. 12, 1932 - AUG. 3, 2006 Amelia Margaret Fisk, 73, passed away August 3, 2006 at Emanuel Medical Center, Turlock, CA. She was born October 12, 1932 in Lompoc, CA.

Her family moved to Vernalis, CA where they farmed. She graduated from Patterson High School.

Throughout her life, she was a homemaker in Vernalis, CA on a beautiful farm and later moved to Modesto. She was a restaurant and store owner.

Amelia leaves her loved ones with a legacy to carry on; a legacy of unconditional love, sacrificial giving and gentle forgiveness. She enjoyed going to church, gardening, sewing, cooking (making pies and canning fruit). She loved spending time with her family and friends and was always a source of comfort and encouragement.

Amelia was dearly loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. She raised eight children. She is survived by her sons Mathew Ramos of Riverbank, CA, Christopher Ramos of San Louis Obispo, CA, Joseph Ramos of Riverside, CA and Phillip Snelling of Tracy, CA. She is survived by her daughters Cynthia DeCamara of Modesto, CA and Natalie Dickman of Turlock, CA. She is also survived by stepsons Marty Fisk and Michael Fisk, both of Vernalis, CA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel, 419 Scenic Dr., Modesto, CA 95350. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery, 17871 S. Carrolton Rd., Escalon, CA 95320 following the services.
