Ann Katherine Fox
Ann was born on 9/21/1941 in Olympia, WA and passed away on 8/11/2012 in Seattle, WA. Ann graduated from North Thurston HS in 1954, earned a BA from the University of Puget Sound in 1963 and a Master's of Education degree from the University of Washington in 1971. She taught English in Japan from 1963 to 1966 and married her husband, Jim, on August 14, 1966. Ann taught in the Shoreline School District from 1971 to 1972, and the Edmonds School District from 1988 to 2003. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, traveling, playing with grandchildren, reading, attending opera and live theater. Ann is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jim, son Ken (Tara) Fox, daughter Elizabeth (Ted) Day, grandchildren Brian, Myla and Kevin Fox, Andrew and Sarah Day. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 8th at 2:00 at Haller Lake United Methodist Church, 13055 First Avenue NE, Seattle, WA 98125.
