Arabelle Compton Obituary

Arabelle M. COMPTON Arabelle passed away on March 1, 2011 at Northwest Hospital. At 91, she was the oldest member of St. Patrick's Parish. Born in her family home in Roanoke Park, she lived there 87 years, attending St. Patrick's School, Seward School, Holy Names Academy and Seattle University. She was a 35 year employee of the Seattle-King County Health Department, heading up the accounts payable division. She spent her last 4 years at The Ida Culver Retirement Home and at the Foss Home and Village. She was beloved by her church friends, neighbors and caregivers and was pre-deceased by her adored brother, Kenneth in 2002. She shared her bright smile and kind manner with everyone she knew. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., March 8th at St. at Patrick's Church, followed by a reception, and internment at Holyrood Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to St. Patrick's Church or to Holy Names Academy.
