I wish to express my condolences to the Sovold family, particularly Susan. I remember going to your house to play, many, many years ago, and it being a fun, warm place to be. I have often wondered about you and other old friends on Queen Anne. I am sorry the discovery is under sad circumstances.
I lost my dad in February so I know your pain and sense of loss. May God bring comfort to you and all of the family.

Art Sovold was a warm, kind, loving man who always had something considerate to say about others. He was generous and genuine. Art made you always welcome and accepted. My children are fortunate to have had Art for a grandfather and I am truly a lucky soul to have had Art as a father-in-law for the past almost 30 thirty years. I didn't know it could be that good. Thanks to him, it always was.
With many wonderful remembrances of this good soul. May his memory be a blessing.

Marie I was saddened to read in the SeaTimes about Arts passing. I remember all the wonderful things you both did in the Food Bank for so many people. We are living in Arizona, but still feel a great attachment to all of the volunteers I came to know and love for so many years. I also will remember his beautiful smile and the love he showed to all of us. Marilyn and Harry Orris
