Ashley Richards Trenner|
On March 15, 2013, Ashley Richards Trenner of Kirkland, WA, went to be with The Lord after her courageous seven year battle with metastatic melaoma. Born on May 16, 1972, in Pittsburgh, PA, she moved to Woodinville, WA, with her family in 1976. A 1990 graduate of Woodinville High School, Ashley is known for loving the color pink, Hello Kitty, Tiffany & Co., glitter and being an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Following graduation, Ashley was employed at Nordstrom, AT&T Wireless, GLY Construction, a barista & manager at Northwest Espresso in Scottsdale, AZ and other espresso stands on the Eastside. Since 2004, Ashley made friends in an instant with her customers at Pub 85 on Rose Hill in Kirkland, WA. There she was known as "the boss" and was loved for her infectious personality and for leaving a trail of joy. She was interviewed twice by King 5 News HealthLink, www.king5.com/health/Young-woman-with-skin-cancer, warning about the deadly consequences of using tanning beds. Ashley is survived by her parents; Robert and Karen Warnick Trenner of Kirkland, WA, brother Darin, of Gilbert, AZ, her faithful boyfriend, Jim Temple of Woodinville, WA, and nine extraordinary girlfirends; Tressa Watanabe Coy, Cary Davis, Simona Dawson, Tracie Bailey Fish, Jenni Griffin Haldi, Candy Ariz Marshall, Karen Rees, Michelle Schuler and Lori Stewart Smith who Ashley considered to be her family. In lieu of flowes, please make donations in her memory to Aimatmelanoma.org.
A celebration of Ashley's life will be held April 13, 2013 at 2:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church in Bellevue, WA. A reception will be held at the Westin Hotel in Bellevue following the service.
