Barbara Belmont Obituary

Barbara Perry BELMONT Barbara Perry Belmont Age 89. Born March 2, 1921 in Bellingham, WA. Passed away February 24, 2011 in Everett, WA. Barbara graduated from Holy Names Academy in Seattle and attended the University of Washington. She and her husband, Jack, were married for 63 years until his death in 2007. Barbara was a devoted wife and mother and their home was the center of family gatherings. They raised their children on Bainbridge Island and Capitol Hill. After retirement they traveled extensively and eventually settled in Stanwood, WA. Barbara's special interests were travel, reading, golf and bridge. She was loved by all her family and friends and always had a smile and kind word for everyone. Barbara is survived by six children, Connie Carvill (Rich), John Belmont (Ann), Fred Belmont, Larry Belmont (Bev), Mary Neary (Patrick), and Anne Belmont, sixteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.Remembrances to Children's Hospital in Seattle or Holy Names Academy.

I will never forget the way her voice and her face would light up when she saw me. I know that she was like this for all of her loved ones. Last May we took a trip to Hawaii together. I feel so incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to spendthat time with her.
