Ben Tsutomu TSUBOI passed away peacefully on April 4, 2012 surrounded by his family. Ben was born on June 14, 1929 in Seattle, the son of Yoritaro and Yasuno Tsuboi. Ben was an avid baseball fan who was a bat boy for the Seattle Rainiers and a loyal and enthusiastic Mariners fan who attended many Mariners games. Ben also enjoyed fishing, golfing and attending Husky and Seahawks football games. He was known as a dog lover and loving grandpa. Ben served in the U. S. Army. He attended the University of Washington and graduated with a degree in International Business. After college, Ben worked for Boeing and then had a long career at Mitsubishi International Corporation. Ben is survived by his wife Sally, his daughter Gail (husband Jim Kranick), two wonderful granddaughters, Jackie and Josie, sister Sachiko (husband Roy Domingo), and brothers Saburo and Keiji, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Tom. At his request, there will be no funeral service.
