Bert is truly missed by visitors, staff and residents of Mission Healthcare at Bellevue. He is remembered as a very kind, gentle, gracious, thoughful man with a great sense of humor and most of all...the love he had for his wife and family. Our lives are all enriched from having shared part of Bert's journey with him and getting to know such an extraordinary man. Our condolences for Pat and family.

Uncle Bert was a wonderful, caring and handsome gentleman with a great sense of humor. I have many special memories of him when I was a child when he and Auntie Pat lived on the lake and also of times shared during holidays and family gatherings. He was Prince Rainier to Auntie Pat, his Princess Grace. We will miss him and hope he has many places to fish in heaven! :)

I have many memories of Uncle Bert, mostly from when I was a child. I remember him always having a smile on his face and who could forget his wonderful laugh? One memory that will stay with me forever was when we were all gathered at Grandma Ramsey's funeral. Uncle Bert sat right next to me and I had my son Andrew, who was 10 months old at the time, on my lap. Uncle Bert kept holding Andrew's little hand and smiling at him, which made Andrew smile back, which made Uncle Bert smile more. This went on throughout the entire service =) I was so lucky to have Uncle Bert--my Godfather-- in my life. We all were.
