I'm not the only one who misses your kindness, your humor, your love. Fortunately you have some amazing children and grandchildren to continue your legacy. My boys have awesome memories from Dean and Bettigene's house. I have treasured memories of dinners and food talk! Shared recipes and a wonderful shared friendship. Thank you for being my friend. I love you! ~D

We will miss Bettigene at our annual "Girl's Christmas Lunch" and all the other gatherings all created by the Edgewater Lane friends. Her pickled green beans were always the "wanted" gift at the gift exchange. RIP Bettigene and say Hi to Dean.

Momma,
How do I put one foot in front of the other and get through this? My heart hurts momma and i don't know how to do this life without you. I am thankful for the time we had before you left but it wasn't long enough. What do I do when I need you momma? Please look down on me momma, my world is empty now that you are gone. I love you Momma.
Love your baby, scooter-Leigh-Ann Kindberg
I will never stop needing you. lak

Mom, "go to the bathroom, get a drink, take a hot shower", I have tried them all and my stomach is still hurting.... a lot. I miss you! Just 1 week has gone by and it seems like forever. I know you are with Grandpa Dean, and no longer in pain and for that I am happy. I love you Mom!

Our sincerest condolences for the loss of your mother and grandmother. Bettigene and I met 30+ years ago (Dean was my husband's cousin) and became fast friends despite our nearly 30 year age difference. She came to my "sleep overs" at Camano and we were comfortable sitting, reading, not feeling the need to fill silence with chatter. While she said I was wise beyond my years I told her she was young beyond hers! Her heart was so very genuine. When we spoke it was with real interest that she asked about my children and grandchildren and with amazing dedication and love that she spoke of all of you. I loved her dearly and will miss her terribly. We'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers. ~Deanna and Craig Mueller
