Betty Blackburn Obituary

Betty BLACKBURN Betty passed away March 12, 2011 in Seattle. She was born in Seattle, grew up in the Wallingford District and graduated from Lincoln High School. Betty married Elmer Blackburn and they spent 4l years together until his passing in 1986,she is survived by her sister Cleo Sykes, her two daughters Kathy and Karen, one grandson Jeremy and two great grandsons Jeremy Jr. and Austin. Betty retired from Sears after 40+ years of service. She loved traveling, tending her flowers and working the family summer home, She was a 60+ year member of the Order of Eastern Star which provided an opportunity to travel, assist in the community and sisterhood. Services will be Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Evergreen Washelli, 11111 Aurora Ave North, Seattle with reception following. Memorials to Seattle Childrens' Hospital.
