Beverly Jean (Johnson) White
Beverly (Jean) was born on November 08, 1929 in Shoshone, ID to Verla and J. Eldon Johnson. Jean was the youngest of three children.
Jean attended Washington State College (now University), where she joined the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. Jean met the love of her life, Dick White on a blind date at WSU. Dick proposed to Jean under Bryan Hall clock tower as the clock struck midnight. They were married on February 2, 1951.
Jean put her education on hold to raise her family. She was a loving and dedicated mom, who always answered the call to volunteer for all of her kids' activities.
Jean returned to school in her mid-forties and obtained her nursing degree from Shoreline CC. She had the distinct privilege of having the college president kiss her as he presented her with her diploma. (The President was her beloved Dick White.)
Jean worked for years as an office nurse until retiring and traveling the world with Dick.
Dick passed away in Dec. 2010 and life was never the same for Jean.
Jean passed away suddenly on August 15, 2012. Jean is survived by her three children, Gary (Sharon) White, Steven White, and Karen (Tom) Parrish. She will be missed by her grandchildren Shannon and Joel White, and Lauren, Kathleen and Tommy Parrish.
At her request there will be no service.
The family will hold a private interment.
Jean and Dick are
once again together.
